Melissa Whitaker graduated with a Psychology Degree from Morehead State in 2002 and completed my MSW at UK, graduating in 2010. Previously she worked at D.O.V.E.S. of Gateway Domestic Violence Shelter in Morehead, KY. Her background is in Child Welfare and she recently left the Cabinet for Health and Family Services after almost 8 years with the Division of Protection and Permanency.
