CLASSES IN HUMAN SERVICES
The Professional Practice in Mexico course involves participating in the community program, the Ultimate Home Visit, for the first two weeks of your six week stay. One aspect of this program is to take six 1.5 hour classes from the UNLA faculty and experts in the field on the human service system in Mexico and the family/Mexican culture. The course schedule provides the days and times that each of the classes are offered. Classes are offered on the education, medical, political, justice, and social service systems as well as the Mexican family and culture. Most of these classes precede field visits and are intended to prepare participants for such visits.
