3 Citizen Review Panels in Arkansas are funded through CAPTA. CRPs have two levels of membership. The first level is comprised of members of the local Multi-disciplinary team (MDT) with statutory authority to review case-specific information. Level two members include all Level I members plus the county coroner for child fatality review, and other members of the broader community with expertise in child abuse issues and community planning.
CRP coordinators work on an annual contract renewable for three (3) years. Contract funds are used to pay coordinator salaries, travel reimbursement, copying, postage, telephone, etc. Coordinators submit monthly reports of activities, quarterly reports and annual reports.
