Description: The Center for Applied Behavioral Health Policy (CABHP) at Arizona State University, through an Interagency Service Agreement with the Arizona Department of Economic Security/Division of Children, Youth and Families, provides centralized staffing, coordination and support to three regional panels located in Tucson, Phoenix and Flagstaff. The panels provide coverage for all Arizona counties and are responsible for statewide review of Child Protective Services (CPS) policies, procedures, current practices, pertinent data sources and case records to determine CPS compliance with CAPTA requirements and the State plan. The panels are committed to review cases of child fatalities, near fatalities and chronic child
neglect.
Recommendations to CPS for system changes and improvement are based on a data driven comprehensive assessment process.
