Local systems description project is a formal survey of child protection activities across 5 domains. Structured case reviews use a detailed protocol for evaluating effectiveness of 16 aspects of child protection across 5 domains. The local panels also submit brief annual reports.
Citizens' Review Board for Children makes the protocols for the local panels in consultation with State Council. Child Fatality Review Team makes protocols for 24 local child fatality review teams (which are not CRPs). Were founded in 12/79 as a foster care review board, and legislatively established in May, 1999, as a citizen review panel.
