CR Board - in state law, from NM Department of Finance and Administration
CRB - 36 CR Boards around state with 180 volunteers, with a State
Advisory Committee (SAC) composed of a representative from each board, their
elected officers and regional representatives, and 3 public members appointed
by governor.
CRP - CR Boards have met many of the CR Panel requirements but New Mexico will more fully meet the requirements through official CR Panels starting in early 2007.
CRB - Extensive data collection on each child at each review (CRB
reviews all children - in fiscal year 2005-2006, 1891 children - who are in state's
custody due to abuse and nelgect through written case information and through
questioning ""Interested Parties"" in each case). SAC's
Research and Investigation subcommittee conducts surveys and interviews with
various parties involved in the system such as district attorneys, medical
personnel, school personnel, law enforcement, department personnel (Children,
Youth, and Families), etc. Data and research results are used to do Annual
Reports and Interim Reports spotlighting single issues. SAC (general and
executive) meets a total of six times a year with some subcommittees meeting
additional times.
