Funding: There is no special funding specific to CRT for these staff persons. CRT is considered a regular part of their duties. Community members of CRTs are volunteers appointed by the Commissioner of DFPS according to federal and state requirements.
Each region (11) has at least one – there are 18 teams total; Region 3 and Region 6 each have a team dedicated to looking at issues involving disproportionality; 4 are designated as CAPTA teams (El Paso, Tarrant Co, Travis Co., and Amarillo).
