Professional Leadership
The UK Behavioral Health Disaster Response Project provides leadership in the area of disaster response on a local/regional level, as well as nationally and internationally. Some examples of leadership endeavors include having project staff serve as board members for the Kentucky Mental Health/Substance Abuse Emergency Response Council and the establishment of the Terrorism/Bioterrorism Related Trauma Special Interest Group for the International Society of Traumatic Stress Specialists (ISTSS).
