The Public Child Welfare Certification Program (PCWCP) is a pre-service education and training program for undergraduate junior and senior social work majors designed to prepare them for employment in Kentucky’s public child welfare services.
School Social Work Specialization. The College of Social Work Master of Social Work
Program offers a Specialization in School Social Work. Through this
specialty
students are trained to assess and provide interventions for the
social, emotional,
familial, cultural, community, and cognitive barriers to achievement
and school
adjustment.
Social Work Association. UK ’s Social Work Association is a student-led organization that aims to build relationships within the College of Social Work while providing service to the Lexington community.
