The College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky is a hidden treasure located in one of the most beautiful areas in the world: the famous Kentucky Bluegrass. The University of Kentucky is the flagship, land grant University of the Commonwealth and, as such, offers top notch educational programs in an environment designed to bring out the best in people. The College of Social Work offers all three levels of professional education in Social Work: the BASW, the MSW and the Ph.D. The College also offers its MSW program in three off-campus sites in addition to the main campus in Lexington. Our Northern Kentucky Program is offered at Northern Kentucky University; the Morehead Program is offered at Morehead State University and the Southeastern Kentucky Program is offered at the Center for Rural Health in Hazard, Kentucky. We provide the highest quality professional education at every site, employing an exceptionally talented faculty with years of academic and practice experience. Two nationally recognized research centers, The Center for the Study of Violence Against Children and the Institute for Workplace Innovation seek to improve the quality of life for Kentuckians and for families and communities throughout the nation.
