The Setting at Northern Kentucky University

Northern Kentucky University lies approximately 80 miles north of Lexington and seven miles southeast of Cincinnati. NKU's location makes the University of Kentucky's M.S.W. program a convenient choice for students from Northern Kentucky, Southern Ohio, and Southeastern Indiana. Founded in 1968, Northern Kentucky University is the youngest of Kentucky's 8 state universities. With an average enrollment of 11,500 students, NKU is now the second largest university in the Greater Cincinnati metropolitan area. NKU provides the classroom facilities for the University of Kentucky's M.S.W. program.
