The College of Social Work at the University of Kentucky offers an innovative and exciting MSW curriculum based on ethical imperatives, research to practice and sound assessments and interventions. Its aim is to equip MSW graduates for the tasks and responsibilities they will encounter in professional Social Work Practice.
Our MSW program is open to all undergraduate degrees and may be completed full time or part time, beginning in the fall. The program offers two concentrations-Mental Health and Family and Community. In addition, students may complete certificates in School Social Work, Gerontology, and Developmental Disabilities.
Students may attend classes on UK’s main campus in Lexington, or at Morehead State University, Northern Kentucky University, or at the Center for Rural Health in Hazard.
