
The National Quality Improvement Center for Privatization of Child Welfare Service is accepting applications for demonstration projects on the topic of innovative performance based contracting and quality assurance systems from all states and municipalities beginning October 2 throughNovember 15, 2006 at 4:30 p.m. EST. Eligible applicants are agencies that have authority over the child welfare functions to be privatized; therefore, the lead applicant must be a state or county public child welfare agency but documentation of commitment from appropriate private sectors partners in the application must be provided.
