The F.A.S.T. Center recognizes foster care and adoption as a unique commitment to the safety and well being of children. Our vision is to empower foster and adoptive families to meet their ongoing developmental needs by providing a continuum of proactive advocacy, education and support.

We work toward this vision everyday through one of our many programs.

Adoption Support for Kentucky (ASK) is a consortium of parent-led adoptive parent support groups throughout the state. ASK also provides ongoing support and training for Kentucky’s resource parents.

KOFFY and KYnex are two partnering organizations that serve current and former foster youth by giving these youth voices to help improve the system and offering support and valuable information.

The Medically Fragile Training Program develops, coordinates, and conducts the training for resource families and social workers.

The Resource Parent Mentoring Program strengthens resource families by ensuring the transfer of knowledge gained in initial training to on-the-job success and satisfaction.

The Resource Parent Training Program is dedicated to the empowerment of foster and adoptive families through the use of training and professional development opportunities
