Request for Applications

The Southern Regional Quality Improvement Center for Child Protection (SR QIC) accepted applications for demonstration projects from states in our region through September 16, 2002 at 4:30 p.m. EST. Eligible applicants had to be from within the 10 state region and represent a public child welfare agency / university / community partnership. Access the Request for Applications (RFA) using the link below. The additional links are Appendices to the RFA and summarize the major accomplishments of the SR QIC to date: a summary of the results of the regionwide needs assessment; preliminary results of a survey administered by the University of Kentucky on supervision in public child welfare which was reviewed as a component of the needs assessment; a literature review and bibliography regarding social work supervision; guidelines for potential applicants on the required program evaluation and comparative research design for demonstration projects; and a sample subcontract. To access information on funded applicants and the learning laboratory projects they are implementing, go to SR QIC Research Activities. If you have questions regarding this process, please email Crystal Collins-Camargo at cecoll0@uky.edu .
