Accomplishments
Since its inception in 2003, the Staff Senate has:- Helped establish the shared leave pool
- Held two Governor's Convocations on campus
- Provided funding for Staff Appreciation Day
- Provided funding for the first Staff/Faculty Survey, resulting in positive changes to our benefits
- Obtained membership privileges on UK committees
- Opened communication lines to top administrators
- Helped hospital staff improve their holiday schedule
