Office of Assessment Advice
When asked to give advice for new assessment coordinators, Rhonda Waskiewicz replied:
"Whenever I get lost in the minutia of 'Assessment', I try to remind myself that the role of assessment is pretty simple: What do you want to know; what evidence do you need, with whom do you need to share the evidence? Of the three, the first is the most important, and practical. I find that all too often, assessment folk start out with 'How do we collect evidence?', 'What tool or method would be cool to use?' and then work backwards to 'What does this evidence tell us?'"
