Career Counseling
Dr. Rebecca Tabony, staff psychologist at the UK Counseling & Testing Center will be talking with students about test anxiety.
This workshop will cover "what is test anxiety", "how anxiety affects students' performance", and "techniques to reduce test anxiety." Dr. Tabony will be available for consultation immediately following the presentation for specific questions.
There is no charge for the test anxiety sessions. Academic, personal, and career/vocational services are offered free to fee-paying students currently enrolled for at least six credit hours at the University of Kentucky.
Students who cannot attend these times, but would still like assistance with test anxiety, can stop by the UK Counseling & Testing Center at 201 Frazee Hall or call (859) 257-8701 to ask about other available appointment times between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
Testing Anxiety Workshops are conducted in room 203 Frazee Hall and will resume beginning fall 2008.
