Welcome!

The Fraternity and Sorority Affairs Office advises the 44 student-run general fraternities and sororities that exist at the University of Kentucky. Collectively, these organizations represent over 3,000 students, offer over 400 leadership positions, manage 31 small group living facilities, and budget, collect and expend over $3.2 million each year. Undergraduate members are primarily responsible for operating these groups, with the assistance of house directors, alumni volunteers and University advisors.

The governing bodies of campus fraternities and sororities are the Interfraternity Council, the Panhellenic Council, and the NPHC. These organizations are comprised of representatives from each fraternity and sorority on campus. The Inter-Greek Programming Assembly schedules and screens service activities and recognition.

New Students

You are invited to attend the Greek Life Interest Session on the first day of your Summer Advising Conference at 9:45 am in room 122 of the Whitehall Classroom Building. Students from the various Greek-lettered organizations will be available to answer questions after an overview of the different aspects of Greek Life are presented.
