The Office of New Student & Parent Programs is excited to work with you to create a comprehensive welcome week experience for our new students. Please fill out the form below and submit your information after reading the terms and conditions. Once we receive the submission of your proposed event, we will contact you with any questions. The Office of New Student & Parent Programs reserves the right to edit submitted information as needed. The deadline for event submission is Friday, June 26, 2009. Terms and Conditions

The Office of New Student & Parent Programs spent over $17,000 on marketing and promotions for K Week 2008 and is committed to fully promoting all K Week 2009 events through an extensive marketing campaign. Your event, where appropriate, will be promoted through the following mediums:

  • K Week printed schedule of events
  • K Week web site
  • K Week schedule highlights poster
  • K Week pocket schedule of events
  • K Week parent and family schedule of events
  • K Week summer mailers to students and families
  • K Week daily broadcast e-mails to all UK students
  • K Week door hangers in off-campus student housing and faculty offices

In return, the Office of New Student & Parent Programs asks that your department/organization agree to the following:

  • All separate event marketing materials (Flyers, Yard Signs, Kernel Ads, etc.) created for your events should include the K Week logo and/or the words "a K Week event." The K Week logo will be e-mailed to the event contact person by the Office of New Student & Parent Programs following event approval.
  • Notify the Office of New Student & Parent Programs of any changes related to the event so that the K Week schedule can be updated as needed.

   By submitting this event to the Office of New Student & Parent Programs, I agree to the above terms and conditions.
