Student Organizations
K Week is a wonderful opportunity for student organizations to recruit new members and raise awareness in the campus community. Please download the document listed below, follow the directions for each event, and contact the appropriate person as listed in the description.
Campus Offices, Colleges, Departments, etc.
The success of K Week is contingent upon the buy-in and support of the entire campus community. The Office of New Student and Parent Programs serves as the coordinating body for K Week and would like to invite all campus offices to plan events and activities to welcome students to campus in the fall. To submit an event for the K Week Schedule of Events, please e-mail the K Week staff at KWeek@lsv.uky.edu. The deadline to submit an event is Friday, June 17, 2011. When submitting your event idea proposal via e-mail, please include the following information:
- Date of your event
- Proposed time of your event
- Name of your event
- Location for your event
- Description for your event
- Sponsors for your event
Lexington Businesses
K Week is UK's fall welcome week for new students and is a great opportunity for local Lexington businesses to reach thousands of new and returning students. For more information on how you can participate in K Week, please download the document listed below.
