Spring Orientation 2008
Spring Orientation is an introduction to life as a UK student and is intended for new undergraduate students starting at UK in the spring semester. All first-time freshmen, transfer, non-traditional, and international exchange students are welcome to attend. Here are a few reasons to take advantage of Spring Orientation:
- Hear presentations from current UK students and faculty members. They will offer advice on everything from doing well in classes to getting involved on campus to how to get athletic tickets.
- Spring Orientation is the only place to get your hands on a copy of the K Book, UK’s new student handbook. The K Book is written for students by students, so it contains everything you will want to know about life at UK.
- Tour campus and W.T. Young Library with other new students. Find your classrooms before the first day of the semester.
Spring Orientation check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. The program begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m. Lunch will be provided. Pre-registration is highly encouraged. To register, please email KWeek@lsv.uky.edu with the following information: name, email address, phone number, and status at UK (freshman, transfer student, or exchange student). If you have any questions, call the Office of New Student & Parent Programs at (859) 257-6597.
