What options does my student have for dining on campus?
UK Dining Services offers six (6) Dining Plans.

Anyone living in a Residence Hall is automatically signed up for the Minimum Dining Plan as part of their housing contract. Other plans include the Wildcat, White, Blue, and Comfort which students may choose as an upgrade.

Each Dining Plan consists of a set number of meals and Flex Dollars.

Dining Plan Meals - Use your meals to enjoy all-you-care-to-eat at Commons Market and Blazer Café or build your own "Combo Meal" at K-Lair Grill, Ovid's Café or Bluegrass Café (BCTC) by choosing an entrée, adding side(s), and a drink.

-   Weekly meal allowance begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday

   is based on 8 meals per week but you determine how many meals you want to use
-   unused meals cannot be refunded, or carried over at the end of the semester
Flex Dollars = money for campus dining that is accepted at all campus dining locations and convenience stores.
-   Funds cannot be used off campus.
-   Save 10% on all purchases paid with Flex Dollars at campus restaurants or dining convenience stores.
-   Flex Dollars transfer from the Fall to Spring Semesters. Unused Flex Dollars at the end of the Spring Semester are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Living Off Campus? Dining Plans are Still a Good Choice and Value.
UK Dining Services allows everyone who is part of the campus community, but doesn't live in the residence halls, the opportunity to save money. All weekly and block dining plans are available to non-residence hall students or they may also choose the Big Blue Community Plan which is a Flex Dollar account and saves 10% on every purchase at campus restaurants and dining convenience stores.

What is the difference between Dining Plans and the Plus Account?
Flex Dollars are like cash in a debit account that can only be used at UK Dining restaurants and convenience stores on campus. The Plus Account is like a debit card account used on and off campus for dining, laundry, printing, copying, prescriptions, bookstore purchases, and more. Residence Hall laundry, library fines, and campus printing may only be purchased using funds in a Plus Account.
