Damage Appeal

If, after thoroughly reviewing the damage information, you believe you can demonstrate that you should not be assessed a particular charge, you may appeal that charge. Appealing a charge is your opportunity to explain why you believe our records are inaccurate.

Once an appeal is submitted, the Office of Residence Life will review all related documentation and respond in writing. Responses will begin in late August and should be completed by the end of September. Appeals must be filed within 30 days of receipt of the damage letter, and no later than July 31, 2007. After that period of time, information may no longer be available to respond to the appeal, so the appeal may not be able to be heard and the charges will need to stand as is.
