Resident Student Association
The Resident Student Association (RSA) is an organization that is open to all students living in the residence halls at the University of Kentucky, representing some 5200 students. RSA is governed by an Executive Board consisting of a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, National Communications Coordinator, Executive Assistant and Public Relations Coordinator. RSA was established to ensure a system of self–government for the residence halls.
The objectives of RSA are to maintain effective communication among residence halls; to promote efficient hall government systems within residence halls; to communicate suggestions and concerns to the administration; and to plan social, educational and recreational programs for resident students.
RSA works with the Student Government Association and University administrators to solve problems unique to residence hall students.
