Schedule

The United Kingdom is the setting for the Second Annual Student Leadership Study Abroad Institute in 2008. At one time it was said that “the sun never sets on the British Empire‚” so vast were its territories around the world. There could be no better setting to learn about leadership within the context of a global society in such an internationally renowned country.

Participants will stay on the campus of Cambridge University (St. Catharine’s College‚ founded in 1473) and visit the picturesque town of Cambridge‚ located on the River Cam. Then the SLSAI group will travel to Edinburgh‚ Scotland and visit Edinburgh University‚ established in 1582--one of the top 10 Universities in Europe‚ and one of the top 30 in the world. Last‚ the group will visit the great City of London‚ founded in 400 BC. Cambridge‚ Edinburgh and London share important educational‚ historical and culturally significant architecture‚ museums‚ universities and other attractions that enhance the intellect‚ encourage the heart and feed the soul.
