Intervention
VIP is a space and a community created to allow you to process your experiences and/or more fully explore your connection to the issue of violence. Whether you are seeking support because you have been directly impacted by violence or seeking guidance on how best to help a friend; whether you are examining the impact of violence on our culture or passionate about social justice - VIP has forums for your voice to be heard and expressed through the arts, for-credit courses, volunteer opportunities, activism, and support services.
Support and Resources
Support and Resources are provided for any UK community member who has directly experienced violence or who cares for someone who has experienced violence.
The VIP Center office hours are: 9am - 5pm. For assistance after hours contact the Bluegrass Rape Crisis Center at 800-656-HOPE‚ the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program at 800-544-2022‚ or the UK Police at 911 or #UKPD.
