Cats Cruiser
Cats Cruiser consists of four, fixed-stop bus routes. Buses circulate approximately every 20-30 minutes at select downtown locations. The service is free for UK students presenting a valid student ID and costs $1 per ride for non-students. The service runs throughout campus and surrounding neighborhoods on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. http://uksga.org/programs-services/catscruiser
SAFECATS (257–7233):
SAFECATS (Safe And Free Escort for Campus Area Travelling Students) is a safety escort service available to UK students and their guests Sunday - Thursday from 8:30pm to 1:30am except during official University holidays, breaks or during the summer. Students can arrange a free safety escort by calling (859) 257-SAFE (7233). Students are encouraged to call 10-20 minutes in advance of the time they need an escort. When available, escorts may also be arranged by in person by visiting the lobby at the W.T. Young Library. Safety escorts may be conducted either on-foot or golf cart, depending on cart availability. The golf cart has been generously provided by the Student Government Association for the purpose of enhancing the SAFECATS program.

- I was there for my friend when she told me she had been assaulted.
- I volunteer at the VIP center a couple hours a week.

- I did my English paper over power based personal violence.
