National Pan-Hellenic Council Homecoming Step Show Fall 2014

One of the biggest events during the University of Kentucky's Homecoming is the annual National Pan-Hellenic Council Homecoming Step Show. The show is planned by NPHC and serves as the largest fundraiser and publicity event for the council and its member organizations. This year, all nine of the Divine Nine organizations will be bringing a great show to the University of Kentucky's campus. These organizations include Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
The National Pan-Hellenic Council is looking for 10 staff members to assist with the Step Show on Friday, October 24, 2014. The volunteers will arrive at Memorial Coliseum around 5:30pm help with ushering, crowd control, and helping to prevent the audience from accessing areas of the Coliseum that will be off limits. The show is scheduled to start at 7:00, with doors opening at 6:00, and should last until approximately 11:00pm. Each staff member will be stationed near a member of UKPD, and will not be expected to deal with issues beyond giving directions and serving as an administrative presence. All volunteers will receive free admission to the show and dinner that evening.

After Office Hours Fall 2014
We're preparing for another year of After Office Hours and we can't do it without you and your support! The 2014 After Office Hours program will be held on Monday, October 27th and Wednesday, October 29th at 6:00pm in the designated residence halls (for each night), with an orientation dinner for the volunteers starting at 5:15pm. This is a great program for you to participate in and spend an evening with our students inside the residence halls engaged in informal Q&A discussion about life on campus, academic readiness, and campus resources.
