This year the fraternity celebrates its 100th anniversary. Although our chapter is only celebrating its sixth anniversary, we have a incredible national network from which to draw experience and opportunity.

During the collegiate years, Alpha Kappa Psi offers students the
opportunity to develop personally, professionally, and socially. The main
focus of Alpha Kappa Psi is to provide leadership development, personal
and professional training, and the fundamental ingredient higher education
misses...experience. Chapter life offers opportunities for improvement of
individual personality and ability through actual experience. Development
of the ability to work with others, to plan and carry out various projects,
to talk before a group, to preside at a meeting, and to lead others,
is highly important. Through involvement in Alpha Kappa Psi, students gain
self-confidence, increased professionalism, experience, and leadership abilities.
