See you at the rally

To the editor:

The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once called our nation to stand against violence and hatred toward humans of all race and ethnic background. It's the job of students, as future leaders of our nation, to answer that call and continue to fight for what Dr. King stood for. Our nation is becoming more multicultural each day, and we must learn to live in peace for the betterment of our children's future.

We both commend and hope to work with student organizations such as AWARE, Students for Social Justice, the Black Student Union, the Martin Luther King Jr. Cultural Center and the many others have taken a stand.

We hope to see the student body present at the rally against racism on April 19.
