INTRODUCTION

Bluegrass Water Watch (BWW) is the University of Kentucky Chapter of the Kentucky Water Watch (KWW) program. There are approximately 250 other such groups statewide. These groups collect data from as many streams as there are volunteers to monitor them. Our chapter was formed by environmentally active students during the fall of 1994. Although our members are not paid for their efforts, we do raise money to buy equipment, pay for gas and occasionally we have a party to motivate members and maintain morale.

Among these pages you'll find all kinds of hidden goodies. We have included maps, data, graphs, photos and movies in what we feel is a well-organized manner. This link is designed to entertain as well as inform. Please send your feedback to our director at IM4UK@mik.uky.edu and consider joining our discussion group on our BWW E-mail listserv.
