Tabling for C 3 (Cleaner Campus Campaign) / Renewable Energy

Day & Date: Friday - Oct 29
Venue: Right outside Whitehall Classroom building (under the porch)
Time: Afternoon 11-3 pm This Friday i.e. Oct 29th we are resuming our Renewable Energy tabling where we will ask UK students to fill out a survey form. This survey would ask them - how they would like to bring alternative cleaner sources of energy on UK campus & how they would like to contribute towards this cleaner campaign. Along with this survey we will be having tabling to oppose MTR.

Lexington Environmental Action Project (LEAP)

LEAP in support with the 'MECCA production of thriller' is having a Halloween event this Sunday wherein the LEAPers are going to dress up like ghouls & pass out hand-bills about energy issues in general. LEAP is having a planning meeting at Jess Miller's place @ 7pm, this Friday i.e. Oct. 29

CK Voter '04 GOTV Schedule

Press Conference for Restoration of Voting Rights in
Frankfort Wednesday, October 27th at 11am in the
Capital Rotunda in Frankfort. Activists who have been
organizing around this issue all over the state will
take the fight to Fletcher?s doorstep to speak out
against disenfranchisement of former felons.

Lit Drops for LexTran (Door Hangers) Thursday
October 28th from 1pm to 3pm, from 3pm to 5pm, and
from
5pm to 7pm. Meet at Employment Solutions at 1165
Centre Pkwy (right in front of Tates Creek High
School). We will be hanging literature on doors
throughout Fayette County.

to pass out handbills to raise awareness of the
LexTran ballot initiative and encourage folks to vote!

ELECTION DAY!! Tuesday November 2nd. Polls open 6am
to 6pm
. Consider asking for this day off to help with
voter mobilization. We will be providing rides to the
polls and MANY other activities throughout the day!

Election Day Party with LexTran folks! Tuesday,
November 2nd starting at 5:45pm
possibly at the
Radisson Hotel (certain location TBA). We'll be
watching all three local news channels with
fellow-activists who have worked on the LexTran
campaign (and other non-partisan work).
