Our Mission Is To:

• Promote swing dancing and swing music on the University of Kentucky Campus, in Lexington and in the Central Kentucky area.
  To accomplish this part of our mission, the Club strives to:   
  
  ··  Provide Swing Dance lessons at a very affordable price.
  ··  Provide opportunities for Swing Dancing.  This includes sponsoring Swing Dances
       and collaborating with other dance and civic organizations to help provide  
       additional swing dance opportunities. 
  ··  Conduct community outreach programs in order to share all the great things 
       about Swing!

• Promote an understanding of the historical development of swing dancing and swing music.  The Club believes that an understanding
  of the historical development of swing has an inherent artistic and educational value that allows the dancer to better understand
  the rich culture of swing dancing and swing music and understand the context for their particular swing dancing style.

• Promote the benefits and fun of social dancing in general.
