  • Healthy PalmPilot Medical resources for the Palm OS, includes the net's largest collection of health care related freeware and software for the palmpilot.

    • CSpotRun is a free reader for documents in the popular Pilot DOC format (PALM). Suggested for PALM OS devices due to its compact size.
    • Mobipocket Reader - Downloading on your PDA gives you a free 14-day trial of the Mobipocket Reader Pro. After 14 days, you can either purchase a license of the Pro version or continue using the free Standard version to read ebooks on your PDA (PocketPC and PALM). Suggested for PocketPCs, most OS versions and processors.
    • Palm Reader Free reader from Palm Digital Media (PocketPC and PALM).
  • Palm M100 memory upgrade Tom Warfel has an engineering and medical degree and shows how to modify the Palm m100 to become an M105. He discourages most people from doing this since it involves a lot of risks, but it is fun to read about an engineer who goes into medicine and see what he does. (Kinda like this web site).

  • Palm OS based platform users need to have Hotsync Manager functional to load software to their handheld computer.
    • If you have a PDA that uses USB and are running WIN 95 on your PC, you may need to use the infrared ports on each device instead of the USB ports.
      This goes for all PDA platforms.

  • WinCE and PocketPC based platform users need to have ActiveSync functional to load software to their handheld computer.  
  • You can download our channel using AvantGo with the link on our home page
    • If you have problems with syncing with Avantgo, go to CONTROL PANEL (off the START -> SETTINGS), and then double-click on Mobile Link. Make sure that there is a Device Profile for your PDA and Server Settings selected. Either click on ADD (if a profile does not exist) or PROPERTIES (if a profile exists) and make sure you have a HOSTNAME (sync.avantgo.com) and PORT (80). Put in you AvantGo Username and Password. Finally, Select your Connection Options. Make sure you really have some channels selected on the AvantGo web site.
