What Kappa Offers

Kappa Scholarships

    Kappa prides itself on striving to achieve and maintain excellent grades. For the fall semester Kappa was ranked 4th among all sororities for grades. We consider this an excellent accomplishment especially since we do not require our members to complete study hours. Instead we use other techniques to motivate each other to have scholastic excellence. Becauase of these things, the Beta Chi chapter was awarded the Most Improved GPA by Panhellenic.


What Kappa Offers:

These are some of the things Kappa uses to help members to achieve the best grades possible:

Scholarship Banquet every semester to motivate members. Girls will receive various small gifts to congratulate them on doing well that semester.

Smart Cookie Award: Presented to a chapter member every week who has demonstrated academic excellence.

Study Files: Kappas keep old notebooks to help other Kappa's in the future with their classes.

Bring your Professor to Dinner: Kappa welcomed some of our favorite Professors from UK.

Study Room: A quiet place that is free from distractions that the library often has where girls from in and out of house can come to study.

**New Program:

Wise as an Owl: Groups based on majors and/or colleges will be put together to help new members learn about their major (or potential major). Older girls will tell you all you need to know to get ahead!



Kappa Kappa Gamma Scholarships

    To help enable the members of Kappa to excel and ro recongize those members that have demonstrated leadership and academic excellence, Kappa Kappa Gamma Nationals offers scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate school. These scholarships are given out throughtout the different Kappa chapters, and we are proud to say that every year a few of our girls are lucky enought to recieve these scholarship to help them with their academic career.
