Need the field lining duty roster: A. Kimbrough (slacker!) VP-ME: Went to the Membership Education Retreat in Toledo Interview party tonight. VP-B: No Report Secretary: No Report Treasurer: $1403.43 BS Cmte: Music Major Tutoring: Motion for Music Major Tutoring Program as a service project effective next Monday based either in the WT Young or the Fine Arts Library. Buttes 12pm K. White 1pm New: Louisville 2nd Degree is Nov. 5 at Miami. TBS-HZ 1st Degree is this Friday. Motion for investigation of R. Akers under Chapter Constitution Artice III, Section 8, A4 (A. Kimbrough, K. White): Theft of gavel from two rituals and several meetings. R. Akers: Only had the gavel during one ritual. Only attended two meetings due to injury, offered to return the gavel. Weak charge. S. Buttes spoke in defence of R. Akers. A. Kimbrough talked about the embarassment and stupidity of having to use a hammer at a degree. R. Akers mentioned that he was "in a car accident and damn near died." He has lined the field alone every day this semester because A. Kimbrough forgot the duty roster. J. Neff spoke about decorum and chapter pride, and the need to talk things out. C. Adler talked about how unduly harsh punishment for simple mistakes can lead to divisivness, and the need for forgivness. A. Kimbrough mentioned that he consulted our Chapter Sponsor (Mr. Boulden), District Governor Malinda Matney, and Chapter Field Representative Derrick Mills. He repeated that this is shameful. R. Akers said that extenuating circumstances exist: he was injured and unable to return the gavel. This is not the first time A. Kimbrough has falsely filed paperwork against R. Akers in the name of Theta Epsilon Chapter. Motion fails 2-5-0 J. Neff requests Conditional Membership due to class conflicts and playing ability (J. Neff, R. Akers).
