VP-ME: During next year's degree, we all need to wear shirt, tie, and blazers. We are going to have a gathering for prospective members for next year's class, by invitation only. This will allow interested people to become familiar with us. We will not be able to start the Spring 2002 class until January. Classes begin Jan. 7th, so we could start a class on Jan. 14, do a get-together next Monday. Alfonzo is preparing a list of possible persons to invite, do your part, however, by letting him know of worthy candidates! The Golden Acorn and Best Section Leader awards need to be planned. Nominations and a vote were held for the Best Section Leader were held, and results will be posted on the website after the awards are given. VP-B: No report. Secretary: I have made the first updates to the website, after gathering all necessary software. I showed photos of the degrees (both TBS and KKY) and will post them onto the website. The Fall Activity Report (FAR) was completed by myself and Neal Steil and was looked over by all present at tonight's meeting. We held a vote regarding the Listserv. The decision was 4-2-1 in favor of the listserv, with Kimbrough, White, Stopper, and Ellison voting for it; Smith and Nolan voting against it, and Carpenter abstaining. The measure states that a new listserv will be constructed for alumni. I will chair it as alumni secretary and ensure its success. The pre-existing ThE-KKY listserv will remain standing. The rationale that those who voted for the measure used was this: The alumni will still remain part of the chapter under this listserv, George Boulden, as sponsor, is an officer under the Constitution, and that is why he is on the listserv. Alumni can send their comments, etc. to the Guestbook on the website. The separate alumni listserv will be created for former Honoraries, Alumni, etc. Treasurer: A check from the Treasurer to pay for the initiate registration fee is required. The current account balance of the chapter is: $1419.91 Old Business: N/A New Business: Mac of the week is Kevin White for finally getting a girlfriend. Damn goes to Alfonzo for breaking a drumstick and taping it. He actually played drum at Saturday's basketball game! Next week we will meet in Room 205 of the Student Center, and from there we will travel to the site for the get-together described in the VP-ME's report. Adjourned: 8:22 PM
