Minutes for the Regular Meeting on January 28, 2002 Attendance: Present: All members present Called to order at 6:14 PM; N. Steil presiding Minutes from last week passed without opposition. Damn: Alfonzo for sleeping in Symphony Band Mac: S. Nolan for "being married" President: April 20th is the Blue and White game. We will hold the Great Southern Hospitality Cookout on that weekend. VP-ME: Failed with our Spring class for three reasons: 1) No one sees us as a brotherhood 2) Low band morale 3) Study time is a higher priority for most We will have around seven actives this Fall. No one seemed interested in joining the chapter. VP-B: K. McCalla is taking a MWF 5-7 class in Fall 2002, and does not know if he can do Marching Band. Super Bowl is going to be at K. McCalla's house, possibly a joint party with TBS. Secretary: Our block is this Sat. (2/2), but we have a ballgame. Treasurer: Same budget as last time: $1,293.54 Old Business: Great Southern Hospitality Cookout - April 20 at Jacobson Park. We plan to buy food from S. Buttes' mom cheap. N. Smith will reserve Shelter One. The price will be $5.00 by Convention, and $7.50 if you pay on the day of the Cookout. New Business: We are giving out food at the Wind Ensemble event.
