DR. THOMAS D. CLARK

1903–2005

A University of Mississippi graduate, Dr. Clark received his M.A. degree from UK and a Ph.D. from Duke. A historian at UK from 1931 to 1968, he chaired the history department for 23 years. Dr. Clark helped establish both the UK Libraries’ Special Collections and the University Press of Kentucky.
