Hey everyone and welcome to the University of Kentucky whitewater boating club's home on the web. The WildwaterCats is a recreational organization for students, staff, and faculty of the University of Kentucky and Lexington Community College. The club is designed to promote safe and proficient whitewater boating, primarily kayaking and canoeing, for all skill levels.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give everyone an update on the new developments with the WWCats.
Roll Sessions are on!
EVERY WEDNESDAY, 9PM-11PM at LANCASTER POOL UNTIL NOV. 1
Membership NOT required for the 1st roll session but we do ask that you be a member AFTER your first session
WE HAVE EQUIPMENT: boats, paddles, pfd's, skirts, and ONE pair of nose plugs...if you have a pair of plugs or can get some, please bring some!
IF YOU KNOW ANYONE WHO IS WILLING TO DONATE GEAR OR YOU HAVE EXTRA-PLEASE CONTACT ME ASAP!
DO NOT ENTER THE POOL UNLESS YOU HAVE SIGNED A RELEASE FORM
Cost: Only $5 for 2 hours with expert instruction
GET YOUR ROLL ON! Meet the WWCats Coaches: Jessica Dussex and Dan Grimes. Theses experienced and talented whitewater paddlers will be providing assistance with rolling a kayak and who will most likely be able to assist you with any boating concerns.

Russell Fork Rendevous and Lord of the Fork Race October 28th! WE ARE GOING You don't have to be pro to enjoy the weekend! There are plenty of rapids: class II-V so you can play hard or just enjoy the water and practice! www.russellfork.info
Pick-up-and-go trips: when we know who you are and you're a MEMBER, we can call you up or you can call us up for last minute trips. There are many area streams to paddle. We are planning more trips for this fall while the dams are letting out water! With as much rain as we have gotten in the last week, the rivers are HUGE.
