Student Financial Aid

The University provides financial assistance, through the Office of Student Financial Aid, to the extent possible for students who find it difficult to finance their college education. Currently about onehalf of our students receive some form of financial aid.

Each year the amount of money required to help eligible financial aid applicants is greater than the sum of available resources. In making awards, decisions are made according to date of application and financial need. For this reason, it is important to apply as early as possible. The student must submit the current year Free Application for Federal Student Aid and complete the University Application for summer school aid. The FAFSA is available any time of year, but takes four weeks to process.

The UK summer application is available March 1 in the Student Financial Aid Office.

Applicants for University financial aid are given equal consideration, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, marital status, beliefs, age, national origin, or handicap.
