New Hotline Helps Kinship Relatives Caring for Children

Caregivers can get answers, support from toll-free phone line

The hotline provides kinship relatives the chance to address program issues, talk about problems or ask questions. Local office staff will answer hotline calls.

The hotline is staffed 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Grandparents & Other Relatives Raising Children Training Project


The purpose of the Grandparents & Other Relatives Raising Children Training Project is to provide resource materials and training to anyone facilitating education/support groups for relatives raising children or for those who are considering developing and leading such groups.

The goal of this project is to increase the number and quality of education/support groups for grandparents and other relatives raising children.
