Travel Program Objectives
The University's Travel Management Services Program for official University business travel (air/hotel/car) is established:
- To provide efficiencies and flexibility to University of Kentucky faculty, staff, or students who are required to travel on behalf of the institution, particularly efficiencies in securing and paying for official University business airline tickets.
- To provide travel data to the University to enable the realization of any collective cost savings and/or revenue enhancement benefits that can be achieved.
- To provide travel data to the Lexington community to support increased air service for the city.
The Director of Travel Management Services will be your travel resource for all official University business travel questions, act as liaison between University business travelers and all travel vendors, pursue and negotiate travel-related contracts, and conduct campus-wide training.
