Travel Data
Travel Data Reports provide very important information about the University’s travel trends, most frequently traveled cities, and the amount of money being spent on air, hotel and rental car arrangements. This data will help us negotiate local, regional and national travel discounts with air, hotel and rental car vendors.
This data is also very valuable to Blue Grass Airport in Lexington to help stimulate and improve it's air service.
We encourage you to use AAA, Trip Manager™, Avant Travel or Commonwealth Travel/The Travel Authority when making official University business travel arrangements, as these vendors have agreed to electronically provide us with this valuable travel data. Travel data for arrangements made with an alternate travel agency or Web site cannot easily be tracked.
