Terry B. Mobley is a native of Harrodsburg, Kentucky and a 1965 graduate of UK with a B.A. in History. Terry was a three-year starter for Coach Adolph Rupp's teams from 1962 to 1965. He recently retired from UK where he served for 33 years as Director of Development and Chief Development Officer, Interim Athletic Director, Vice President for Development, and Vice President for Institutional Advancement responsible for the UK Alumni Association, Development Office, Public Relations, Government Relations, and WUKY radio station. Under his supervision, the university's one billion dollar capital campaign was planned, implemented, and successfully completed. Terry has served on the board of the Business Partnership Foundation, Gluck Equine Research Foundation, Center on Aging Foundation, Mining Engineering Foundation, and the UK Development Council. He has been a member of the UK National Alumni Board since 1977 and is a recipient of the UK Alumni Association Distinguished Service Award. He continues to serve on the boards of the Hope Center, Inc. and Virginia Place, Inc. which provide shelter, recovery, and educational programs for men and women. Terry and his wife, Becky (A&S '67), have three children, all UK alums.
