Find a Protégé
One major function of The Office of Undergraduate Research is the pairing of faculty mentors with undergraduate protégés to create a formalized, meaningful research experience. Once the mentoring relationship is established, our office can then follow the student's progress, as well as provide advice, support and further training, e.g. tutorials on how to prepare for conference presentations.
We also offer training for faculty mentors, from providing articles, to Power Point training modules, to sources of funding for taking students to conferences. If you are new to undergraduate research, please fill out this form to have your name listed on the faculty mentor database.
If you are currently mentoring a student and have not entered your name in our database, please do so. Our office can assist you as you progress through your training of the student.
