Students who want GWR credit should enroll in and complete a GWR approved course.
As of Spring 2008 there are no more “w”
sections or forms required. All students are enrolled and remain in the
same section of a course.
However, GWR credit is still only
given to students who meet prerequisites for
this requirement.
GWR credit is noted in APEX and on the
student’s Unofficial Transcript with the notation “Graduation Writing
Requirement Course”
listed after the course. This is
usually done by midterm of the semester in which they are enrolled in the
course.
