The mission of the University of Kentucky Central Advising Service and Transfer Center is to be a comprehensive resource center, which enables students to realize their potential for academic and holistic growth and development.

Priority Registration

Students, Priority Registration windows will be opening in November. Check in myUK to determine exactly when your window opens. It is very important that you follow up with the communications sent from your Academic Advisor detailing how to proceed with this process. If you have any questions about Priority Registration, contact your advisor immediately. Ideally, students should meet with their Academic Advisor to discuss Spring 2010 classes before their Priority Registration window opens.

Declaring a Major

The window to declare a major will open November 30, 2009 and extend through February 26, 2009. Be certain you have consulted with your Academic Advisor about changing your major if you plan to do so during this period.

Reinstatement for Spring 2010
(CLOSED)

Students wishing to return to UK following an academic suspension must first apply to be reinstated to the University. The student should contact the college that houses their intended major. The college from which a student is suspended does not need to be the college that considers the reinstatement. Undergraduate Studies reinstates only those students with 60 or fewer earned hours. To be reinstated into Undergraduate Studies, for Spring 2010, call (859) 257-3383 beginning September 1, 2009 until October 1, 2009. If you seek reinstatement after your second suspension, you must contact the University during the period between September 1 through September 15. Please review the rules of probation and reinstatement.
