Choosing a Major

Choosing a major can feel like an overwhelming task. Career assessments are designed to help students indentify preferred majors, motivating work environments, and potential career interest areas. There are two resources on campus where you can go to get help.

  1. Counseling and Testing Center provides group and individual services to help students deal with career indecision, choosing a major, and making plans for tomorrow's world and their future
  1. James W. Stuckert Career Center provides students with career exploration and job search tools.

After students have taken career assessments and met with a career counselor they need to bring the results to their academic advisor. Academic advisors will help students choose classes/majors that match results of career assessments.
